Dear Daddy,

There is a lot going on at the moment and I know it can be hard to do work with dodgy eyes, when everything seems so tiring.

Preschool, music, Gawura, concert, Christmas, family, finance, let alone caring for people and extending them in Christ. I know it’s hard!!!!!!!

I wanted to make this page (don’t worry, it’s private) for you this morning to remind you how much I love you and how much God is still in charge.

Dear God,

You are the one who promised long ago to bless all nations through Abraham, and you are the one who did it.

You are the one who promised long ago to bring your Son into the world, and you are the one who did it.

You are the one whose Son is called

Wonderful counsellor

Mighty God

Everlasting Father

The Prince of Peace

Help us delight in your security and safety! Knowing that the government rests upon his shoulders, and we can sit humbly at his feet.

King Herod’s most evil plans could not stop you from having your will done in sending Jesus to rescue us. You engineered society and politics, you moved the stars, to have your son born and worshipped.

All that to say, you’re still in control.

You’re still God.

And we still trust you.

So we ask that you help us trust you. Deepen our love of you and your Son. Even when things don’t go right, help us to trust you.

Help us to remember that you’ve still go this! Nothing happens outide of your plan.

And at the end of the day, when all is said and done, you’ll still be glorified from people of every tribe and language and nation worshipping at your throne. How we long for that day!
